Components
- FTP Transmission Module
DataExpress enables you to securely transfer business-critical data files to and from your trading partners over an Intranet, the Internet or other TCP/IP networks. Trading partners can send and receive files containing transaction documents, insurance claims, medical records, retail reports, and more. - Secure FTP with SSH (SFTP)
DataExpress enables you to securely transfer business-critical data files to and from your trading partners over an Intranet, the Internet or other TCP/IP networks. Trading partners can send and receive files containing transaction documents, insurance claims, medical records, retail reports, and more - Encryption
DataExpress deploys software-based encryption mechanisms to protect data files, regardless of the type of communication protocol encountered.
Use of DataExpress File Encryption requires minimal knowledge of encryption algorithms, techniques and procedures. - Distributed Architecture
The leader in open-standard communication can now be distributed throughout the enterprise, allowing file transfers on multiple servers while managing and monitoring them all through a modern browser-based GUI. - Email Collections and Distribution
DataExpress supports the collection and distribution of data files as email attachments.
The attached files can be sent in clear text or encrypted. - Connect: Direct Transmission Module
The features of this interface module allow current Connect : Direct traffic to be managed on the same platform as other transmission protocols.
Functions include Automatic Processing, Step-by-Step Monitoring, Reporting and Alert Notifications. - Compression and File Bundling
To support more efficient handling of multiple files, DataExpress supports file bundling. With file bundling, DataExpress can merge multiple incoming files into a single batch of data for processing, or split a discrete file for distribution to multiple end points. - Lightweight Directory Access Protocol
Allow single user sign on to access multiple services.
Big Brother Monitor. Interface to pass notifications from DataExpress to the Big Brother monitoring product. - WebDav
Extension to HTTP.
Can run secure with HTTPS
Allows user to edit and manage files collaboratively on remote servers.
Provides locking (overwriting facility). - System Monitoring
Tracks the process of each file as it proceeds through transfer process. On screen monitoring alerts the operator in real time.
Notifications regards file status can be sent via email to interested parties. - Reports
Integrated report generation engine with a pre-packaged set of reports. - Asynchronous Communication Module
Includes: Modem Compatibility ; Security ; Transmission Options and Modem Compatibility and supported protocols. - Bisynchronous Communication Module
Includes: Modem Compatibility ; Security ; Transmission Options and Modem Compatibility and supported protocols.
Expansion Products
To meet client’s additional functional requirements DXOP can be used in conjunction with both:
| DataExpress Secure Gateway |
DataExpress Remote Agent |
|
DataExpress Secure Gateway provides a security-based Distributed Architecture to provide enhanced security for the collection or delivery of data. |
DataExpress Remote Agent provides the ability to run a remote infrastructure while providing secure bi-directional file transfer functionality but removing the requirement for the remote office to develop the skills to develop the skills required to manage and operate secure file transfers. |
DXOP bot
DXOP bot is an add-on DataExpress Open Platform (DXOP) module which allows files to be uploaded and downloaded via HTTP or HTTPS protocols in an automated and auditable manner.
Main Features
- Easy setup and use
- Session recording via proxy for initial setup
- Pre-execution session Job and Step editing
- Utilizes standard DXOP features for managing file names
- Bi-directional ability to upload or download files and documents
- DXOP standard features accurately track and account for all activity related to uploading and downloading of files and documents
- Executes as a standard DXOP Job which can be scheduled with customizable follow-on step processing
- All standard DXOP features and functions are available
- Reduce actual person-based manual “hands-on” operation via browser operation
- ID and Password are maintained in encrypted format in DXOP and not reported in DXOP logs
DXOP Impulse
DXOP Impulse adds an “ad-hoc” capability to DataExpress Open Platform (DXOP). It provides a secure method of sending and receiving files, on demand, securely, via DXOP without requiring pre-definition of the recipient. Impulse presents a browser-based ability for a user to identify files to be distributed to one or many recipients via HTTP. Emails notifying the intended receivers are sent automatically, identifying the URL and unique one-time ID and password required to download the data via a secure channel.
Main Features
- Easy setup and use
- Reduced dependence on email to deliver documents as attachments, reducing the byte volume, server storage and local storage of documents and files
- DXOP standard features accurately track and account for all activity related to staging and downloading files and documents
- Ability to deliver to multiple recipients with one local distribution
- Tracking and accounting information available to sender only
- Augments policy regarding method, tracking
- Automatic and tracked destruction of files and documents based on senders choice of expiry dates
- Customizable email text including disclaimer and use restriction information
- Excellent capability for ad-hoc file and document distribution
