SSH Support now available in DataExpress NonStop and DataExpress for Integrity

DataExpress for NonStop (DXNS) and DataExpress for Integrity (DXINS) has introduced a interface module that now provides a Secure FTP option using the SSH (Secure Shell) with SFTP version 3.0. This secure feature has been implemented into both the SFTP Client and SFTP Server of the product.

Our SFTP implementation is not simply standard FTP run through SSH encryption (sometimes called tunneling or port forwarding), but rather a completely different protocol implementation with functionality that is only superficially similar to FTP.

Using SSH with SFTP is common, and is implemented by several commercially available products. DX SSH Secure FTP uses a SSH2 interface process from comForte®1.

SSH (Secure Shell) is one of two Secure FTP options in DataExpress, the other being TLS Secure FTP.

SSH is available in version 7.6 of DXNS and DXINS. Contact Us for more information.
